Modern Wall Art
Clean-lined, confident, and built for contemporary rooms.
Modern wall art brings a crisp, current energy to a space — bold geometry, confident color blocking, and graphic compositions that feel intentional rather than fussy. It's the easiest way to make a room read 'designed': a single modern piece over a sofa or bed sets a contemporary tone instantly, while a coordinated pair brings rhythm to a hallway or home office.

What Makes Art Feel Modern
Modern art leans on simplicity and contrast: clean edges, deliberate negative space, and a tight palette doing a lot of work. Because the compositions are uncluttered, they sit comfortably alongside contemporary furniture and won't fight a patterned rug or a busy bookshelf. Scale up for a statement, or repeat a motif across two or three frames for a curated, intentional look.
How your print is made
From archive to wall
Digital remastering included
- 01
Source
Each piece comes from a high-resolution museum or curated archive — the kind of original-quality source you'd otherwise only find at the Met or a specialized print dealer.
- 02
Remaster
Before we print, every image is digitally cleaned: scan borders trimmed, color profile adjusted to the chosen medium, resolution matched to your selected size. No museum-scan artifacts make it onto your wall.
- 03

Sizing & hanging guide
- 1
Measure your wall
Width and height of the open space, edge to edge.
- 2
Take 2/3 of it
Art should fill about two-thirds of the available width.
- 3
Match the orientation
Tall walls take portrait; wide walls take landscape.
- Hang centre at 57–60" from the floor — eye level.
- Leave 3–6" between a frame and furniture below it.
- For a group, treat the cluster as one shape.
- Bigger reads as more expensive; don't under-size.
FAQ
Frequently asked
In decorating terms they're used almost interchangeably. 'Modern' usually means clean lines, geometric forms, and a restrained palette; 'contemporary' just means what's being made now. For styling a room, look for the clean-lined, graphic feel either way.
Modern art rewards scale. Over a sofa or bed, aim for a piece (or pairing) that spans roughly two-thirds of the furniture's width so it anchors the wall with confidence.
